Many people are confused as to what cloud technology can really do. Cloud technology, or cloud computing, is a new system that gives people more resources than there own hardware can provide.

There are several Cloud Technology Applications that allow users to work on internet-enabled devices. This means that the system or infrastructure sits on a virtual network that users can access. This virtual network provides resources, utilities, and space that they normally would not have with their conventional devices.

  1. Process – Cloud technology applications allow for isolated processed to be created and sparsed, separate from any user’s device or operating system.
  1. Application – Because cloud technology applications sit on a separate platform, developers can have an easier time developing applications.
  1. Integration – Cloud computing allows for the integration of private and public domains. Businesses can integrate a public and private cloud to create a seamless consumer system.
  1. Security – Because cloud technology applications provide multiple users with access, security is one of the more important features. Individual users can be given staggered or laddered access to different parts and functions of the cloud. Strict security protocols are often put into place to prevent information leaks.
  1. Management – Since cloud computing provides massive space, it is also used to manage large amounts of data, information and services.
  1. Testing-as-a-service – Cloud computing also provides a great platform for developers to test software and code in an environment they can manipulate. Because it sits on the cloud, testing can be done collaboratively, and on operating systems different from their own.
